Greatest
Hits
Review: review by LoneStarSpice December 29, 2007 WOW! Well it's about damn time they got their act together and put everything together on 1 disc. I'm sure most everyone who is a serious fan already has the previous three albums and could make their own greatest hits CD if they wanted to. I'm just glad to see that all of the videos are finally together on a DVD. The only complaint I have about the DVD is that Headlines isn't on there so it really isn't a "complete" collection of videos. The remix CD is also another good idea to have some of the better remixes pulled together on a CD instead of having a few on this single and a few others on that CD. The only complaint about the remix CD is that none of the new remixes are included. Not much to say about the karaoke CD, good idea, but where is Headlines? Oh well I'm not planning on singing with it anyway. Jumping back on the positives, the postcards with the boxed set are excellent pictures and even the bracelet isn't that bad, but I think a replica ring would have been a better idea since it was first used on Wannabe. I've already reviewed these tracks on previous reviews and that only leaves a review needed for Voodoo, which isn't that bad. I think the first time you listen to it you are like WTF, but if you continue to keep listening to it, it grows on you. It has a sweet sounding 70's disco vibe to it. I doubt it will be released as a single, but I think you could do some awesome remixes with it. Let's jump to the artwork! The artwork features a £1,000,000 jewel encrusted logo, which pays homage to their debut album, Spice. The jewels were designed by David Morris and each letter represents one member of the group. The "S" is made from amber and represents Victoria Beckham; the ruby pink "P" is Emma Bunton; Melanie C’s letter "I" is made from a diamond; Geri Halliwell is the "C", made from sapphire stones and the emerald "E" is Melanie B. Overall awesome album, definitely worth all 5
